Produced exclusively for McLaren by the French company Falcom, the F1’s incredible tool kit shared the same ethos seen in the car, with fanatical attention to detail in an effort to shed as much weight as possible. Each tool is made from titanium (with the exception of the steel pliers) and sports a unique gold-coloured finish, thanks to a titanium nitride coating. This particular tool kit was issued to an F1 which caught fire. This tool kit was in the car at the time, leading to fired damage on the leather tool rool and screwdriver bits.
